A local resident received a phonecall on Saturday from “BT” checking that they were satisfied with their BT Broadband service. Having got used to the “Microsoft Support” phonecalls and the fact that they used the RESQ broadband service they were immediately alerted; they also noted the ‘technician’s very poor use of English. This is another example of the way computer users are being tricked into allowing criminals to access their computers.
