In response to enquiry posted 14 August from Jennifer Rees I would be grateful if you could forward the following (email link from website is not working):-
My husband’s family tree includes ancestors who lived in and around Cilycwm. We have found a burial in St. Barnabas churchyard, Rhandirmwyn of Daniel Davies (1848-1885) who was at Penrhyn in the 1881 census. I think he was a grandson of the Daniel Davies (1773-1854) you refer to. The headstone also includes his wife Margaret (1862-1894) – a sister of my husband’s great-grandfather, and two of their children. I recall there was a list in the church porch of the burials there, may be worth a look.
We think Penrhyn is off the road from Cilycwm to Rhandirmwyn, by the river.
