With proper broadband available and a few people with the necessary skills and inclination to make it happen, our little community now has the exciting prospect of owning a website which can react very quickly to whatever is happening in and around the area. It is designed to act as an instant forum for news events and opinions as well as a record of the history, Geography,Archaelogy and Natural History of the area.

Reaction so far has been very positive, but to really fulfil its potential we need YOU, the people of Cilycwm, to tell us what’s on your mind. We are looking for all kinds of written contributions. These could be in the form of brief messages, comments, articles, stories, poems – anything really – in English or Welsh. Don’t worry if your language of choice is not perfect; we can make sure there are no glaring errors before publishing.

The website is really good, it’s user friendly.
I think either everything to be bi-lingual or have a button for Cymraeg and whatever is in English do the same on the Welsh pages
Hello. I’m doing some research for Menter Cwm Gwendraeth on behalf of the County Council into combating fuel price hikes. One idea is obviously bulk buying oil to reduce costs. Cilycwm came up on the “oil-club” website. If anyone involved would be able to chat with me, I’d reallly appreciate it.
