The new bridge over the Afon Tywi was opened on 18th May 2023. The new bridge, which replaces the ageing Bailey bridge with a new one, has a greater load-bearing capacity.
Eluned and Louise, both from neighbouring farms, officiated and cut a ceremonial ribbon; Eluned also drove the first vehicle across the new bridge. Local people will miss the sounds the wooden roadbed made as vehicles trundled across the loose boards but will be pleased that the ageing structure has been replaced.
