Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic

Carmarthenshire County Council hereby gives notice that from 28th September 2020, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along the C2157, Cilycwm, Llandovery from its junction with the U4180 for a total distance of 2.7 miles in a South-Westerly direction to its junction with the C2270.

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety while Carmarthenshire County Council carry out works on a dangerous tree.

The alternative route for South-Westbound traffic will be to proceed along the U4180 in a North-Easterly direction to its junction with the C2163. At the junction, turn right and continue along the C2163 in a South-Easterly to South-Westerly direction to its junction with the C2270 passing properties known as Tan Y Coed and Nantddu. At the junction, turn right and continue along the C2270 in a North-Westerly to South-Westerly direction to return to a point South-West of the closure. Vice versa for North-Eastbound traffic.

This Notice shall continue in force for a period not exceeding twenty one days after which time its provision may be extended by a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the same Act.
