Dyfed-Powys Police recognises that the impact of crime can be higher in rural communities, and people may feel particularly vulnerable because of their isolation. You now have a dedicated rural policing team who will be working with our partner agencies to seek early intervention opportunities to prevent rural crimes and incidents.
Having effective communication with the farming and rural communities is vital for us to understand what problems you are experiencing so we can respond to the needs of your rural community. We have a number of projects being implemented to make sure we have a two-way communication but we need you to have your say in the developments.
