The Mid Wales Red Squirrel Partnership is holding an event at the Royal Oak Inn in Rhandirmwyn on Saturday 26th July at 2pm.
The event will include a general introduction to red squirrels in mid Wales and give information about what local people can do to support red squirrel conservation in the area. We are also really pleased to be able to host Jackie Foott from Cumbria who will give a talk about community action for red squirrels in the north of England, where red squirrel volunteer groups are well established. I’d like to attract as many people as possible to this event to encourage to encourage the formation of a ‘friends of the red squirrel’ group in the Rhandirmwyn area and to get people interested in a Trap Loan Scheme.
