Defibrillator in Rhandirmwyn

This comes from the Rhandirmwyn Community Association – quite a contrast to the response a similar proposal had in Cilycwm!

“We have had a great response to the proposal to have a defibrillator in Rhandirmwyn, with over 60 people volunteering for the training and circa £1300 pledged or donated to date. With the additional fundraising that is planned we are confident of reaching the £1500 needed without BHF support. This means we will be in a position to purchase the defibrillator once the necessary training is booked. We are waiting to hear back from the Welsh Ambulance Service regarding proposed training dates, and will contact the people who have volunteered once these have been agreed.”
